Tickets Bolton Wanderers v OUFC Ticket Thread

What is the potential attendance?
If capacity of Wembley is 90,000, each club has been allocated 36,500 then there appears to be a large amount of tickets not allocated to the two clubs, approx 17,000? will all these be sold? Who to?
If those "other" tickets are sold and both clubs sell 33,000, then we are heading towards an attendance of say 83,000? Is this right??
former players etc , wont 'the club' have around 500+ guest type tickets? ( Bolton similar),or is that whistful thinking on my part-& it might be at that

home of football? ... home of rob-dog fun sponges IMO
Perfectly put. We paid for it too!

Sounds about right. Biggest impact is the many thousands (approx.10k) held by full Club Wembley members. These count as neutral but rarely get used for less glamorous games. Max attendance at Wembley for things like L1 playoffs is more like 80k.

Yeah it is, new rule they bought in last season.
I’ve never known it be enforced. It’s just a suggested entry time as they don’t want tens of thousands of supporters all turning up with about 15-30 mins to go and then wondering why the turnstiles can’t cope and especially with bag searches etc….

A load of nonsense putting that on tickets, like any big event now they use minimal staff and then wonder why there are problems!

fuckingrob dogs

Believe sales have just passed 31,000.

2 more days of sales. Let’s hope with it on general sale now we can match the same crowd as we did have for York.. with the same result of course.
Can you let the thousands who were waiting for them to go on general sale that they can now buy them.

Timings are there as guidance and nothing more. The hope is that people will start entering the stadium from 2.15 to help control numbers through the turnstiles and to encourage people to eat and drink in the stadium. It's to avoid the huge swelling of fans that was seen at Euro 2020 where a large number deliberately overwhelmed stewards and the barriers to gain entry whilst also putting thousands of others at risk. It's not enforceable, and shouldn't matter anyway as the vast majority will drift in gradually between 2.30 and 3.30.

That’s not for me pal however if those people were given proper notice and not a couple of days to make plans then I’m pretty sure we would’ve sold the whole 37,000 tickets.

Keep up with your snide remarks though.

Block 534 has already been open, which makes it even stranger that it was re-closed, because it definitely didn't sell out, i had it as having over 350 tickets left at 9pm last night.
Really struggling with this one as well. It makes no sense why the remaining seats in Block 534 disappeared from sale - presume they will be reactivated on Thursday morning along with Block 533 being opened.

Is everyone seeing this as being a free hit? Or resigned to the inevitable ’plucky little Oxford’ undone by Bolton powerhouse whilst the media cream themselves over former premiership giants, “such massive potential” and Nat Lofthouse aficionados gurning over whippets on the cobbled lanes t’hills?

Still not received my email tickets (ordered on first day). Should I be worried?

Season ticket holders and members bought 10,000 tickets with only a days notice last week. Another 15,000 non-members bought tickets on Monday with only a few days notice. I would have hoped that the hundreds of casual fans that you were championing would have also bought in the thousands today. Hopefully with a little notice they will jump in tomorrow and see us sell out.

Not yet. I would give it until tomorrow evening before worrying and if you still haven't received them then give the ticket office a call on Friday. This was always going to be a staggered distribution of tickets regardless of when you purchased them.

Also, if you haven't done so already, just keep an eye on your spam folder in case they end up there.

I ordered tickets in two separate transactions with the most recent transaction arriving first.
That said check you have your confirmation email so you aren’t checking the wrong mailbox and keep an eye on the junk folder.

Dear lord. You want to be a fans representative so the collective fan base to feed back on improvement opportunities, to be able to voice their concerns, and this is how you interact with those that do.

You really are extraordinary.
