Tickets Bolton Wanderers v OUFC Ticket Thread

Thing is, looking back on my life now, there were times where family should have meant more than football, but it didn’t. I wish I could have had some of those times back now, but I can’t. I reckon you and your lad will get to Wembley before long with the U’s.
Set up notifications from BBC Sport to your mobile, enjoy the family get together and crack open a beer to celebrate with us at the final whistle.

Or get a projector up in the room, or a side room, and show it. Shouldn't be a problem if they all have some connection to Oxford and the young lad can do both (sort of) then.

Thanks for letting me know. I am one of the idiots who bought a ticket from Trainline (will now stop) and they didnt mention that
Depending on when you bought the ticket, Chiltern may not have actually announced that, so it may not enitrely be Trainline's fault, but they are slow on the uptake with timetable changes etc - use with caution!

Yep - NO Chiltern trains will run from Oxford on Saturday the 18th. They will ALL start and terminate at Oxford Parkway.

Wonder if FOSB will be there as volunteers to help with traffic and queue management  :ROFLMAO:
Great, thank you.

We tend to always use Parkway for getting to London these days (it's a perfect transport hub afterall!) but just thought I'd check that Marylebone was still the best place to end the journey.

I imagine we'll get to London quite early and show our girls some of the sights in central London, before heading to Wembley in any case. They're both under ten, so not big drinkers :ROFLMAO:

Anyone else bought London road coach tickets?
I maybe old and thick but I cant see a coach number on the ticket unless its what
they are calling a row number?
I bought 4 tickets and they show 3 different row numbers so maybe we got to travel on 3
seperate coaches?
Help

What really annoys me is that this should be a week of anticipation looking forward to the game, instead there a lot of people fed up by the ticketing system. It should be a celebration of what the team achievement done in terms of achievement, there has to a proper review of the whole process so it didn't happen again, oh the old days when you stood in line along the London rd were so much simpler ,waiting in line to buy your paper ticket!
I don't get why they've made it so complicated.

If I remember correctly from the Barnsley and Coventry finals each ST holder got 'X' amount of tickets and you just... bought them...? No need to set up networks, link accounts etc etc. No ST holder/member is going to buy tickets for Bolton fans so you can't even use trying to stop Bolton in our end as reasoning for it.

When I saw the prices I knew we wouldn't, it would help if the FL realised this is the third division play off final not the champions league a few weeks later,

Its actually the champions league which has caused the shorter time to sell tickets and the fact its a week earlier, so that can f**k off.

Isn't the timeframe pretty much what we had for the York game and we got something like 33/34k iirc?

even for a technophobe like me booking offpeak family flexible return train tickets from Chiltern railways ( Parkway- Wenbley & Back) was painless - Me n 2 granddaughters £31- all done in 2 mins

a vast contrast to booking Wembley tickets for sure

Mine was Row 1 for all 5

I did look at doing a dot count, but a section in the 2nd tier that looked sold out yesterday all of a sudden all turned blue today. So it's tricky without a lot of faffing to work out which blocks are sold out and which aren't on sale. Rough count I'd say we're on about 15k, but there's not a lot of movement today. Seat map doesn't look a great deal different to this morning.

You'd think most season tickets and members will have got their ticket by now, other than those waiting for another block to open. Seems like quite a bit ask for another ~15k to be shifted on General Sale within a week. But we'll see I guess. Right now given the huge slowdown today I don't see us shifting all 36k. But who knows to be honest!

silly that they havent opened up more middle tier sections when all the ones on offer are pretty much sold out

You're going to have to help me then Sarge. I can only see fixed train times not flexible. Am I overthinking it? 🥴

We will sell out. With not all tickets available yet Iv got 6 I got to get for me and my family. Iv been keeping an eye on sales and don’t feel in any rush to purchase. I’m sure even on this forum alone people will be thinking the same. I’m 99% sure we sell out. I think if we had 40k we would to. We’re a different club to the last few visits and are fan base has grown we will be fine

If you are getting a train from parkway to Wembley just get a anytime return and you will be fine, you have to pick a time to get to the next section to pick the anytime return though.

15k between 5k season ticket holders that’s 3 each on average if your figures are correct. Us season ticket holders make up a tiny percentage of the football community here in oxford. Monday will be carnage mark my word we will sell ours no problem at all.
