The Women's team are top with one game to go after a 5-1 win yesterday v Gillingham.
Final game? Ipswich away who are second ( same points as Watford in 3rd)

come on you yellow roses, ..... only one defeat in the league this season( thursday last in the many times rearranged away game to Watford), OUWFC finished a close second to Southampton last season. Its in their own hands going into the final game of the league campaign. Win the game v Ipswich and a playoff final awaits- against the Northern Womens L1 winners, with the team who wins the playoff promoted to the Championship

Doesn't help us this season but from next season two teams are relegated from the Championship meaning both Northern and Southern league winners get promoted automatically without the need for a play-off.

The Northern league has been won by Notts Forest who are managed by our former manager Andy Cook, the play off final takes place at MK Arena on Saturday 20th May 1pm ko. Let's hope it's us there too

It will be a difficult game away at Ipswich, who could also win the league with victory.

Also worth mentioning the OUWFC Devs who've had an outstanding season, they won the Reserve Cup a week ago and this weekend clinched the Reserve South East & Central Division championship to make it a league and cup double.

Back to Ipswich, they have an inferior goal difference to Watford - 9 goals different so would not only have to rely on Watford not winning they also need to beat us convincingly or Watford to lose heavily for them to have a chance. Watford are away to Billericay who they lost to at home earlier in the season so who knows.

We just have to better Watford's result.

We have to match Watford's result (and not lose)

If we win we are top, regardless of their result.
If we draw and they win they are top.
If we draw and they draw/lose, we are top.
If we lose and they win they are top.
If we lose and they draw/lose, then Ipswich will be top...

Simple really..
