With excitement mounting for Saturday’s trip to Wembley the news of the lease signing came as another shot in the arm for this amazing season. With Parkway train station being the hub of both our trip to Wembley and our planned new stadium, we wanted to take advantage and show those making the decisions that our fanbase is not only happy to use the train, it’s absolutely the preferred option.

How to help

With that in mind we are launching United On Track.

If you are taking the train to Wembley then simply visit https://s.surveyplanet.com/hh7n8bvw and answer four simple questions.

It will take thirty seconds but will mean a massive boost to our continuing efforts to dispel the misconceptions of some when it comes to our supporters.

We have been working with Chiltern Railways who are putting on extra capacity for the day and we hope to have figures from them to add to those we obtain but please take a minute to fill this out and add your weight to the simple fact that Parkway, and the measures being put in place, will make the new stadium one of the least reliant on cars in the country.

This is a real chance for fans to show yet again we can back up our claims and make our voice heard.

A few clicks is all it takes. That survey link again is

Pictures

We would also love for people to take pictures at the station and en route and send them to us, and we will put together a montage.

Please email your pictures over to us on the day or soon after, if you are happy for us to publish them, to enquiries@oxvox.org.uk

United On Track? You better believe we are!

I'm driving (EV tho!) because the train is extortionate for 4 people from Manchester. Can you feed that back too please to @OxVox? 😂

Question 4 says:

Are you traveling from or through Oxford Parkway station in Kidlington

In fact it is impossible to travel through Oxford Parkway station by train on Saturday, as Chiltern are not running any trains from Oxford Station due to their 'enhanced timetable'. I think this fact should be more widely publicised by the club (and made clear in this survey). Online journey planners have been showing direct trains to Wembley and Marylebone from Oxford station, and will do so up until tomorrow I believe. But when people turn up at Oxford station on Saturday, they will find there are no direct trains, or indeed any Chiltern trains on that line at all. So I suspect a lot of people who intend to travel from Oxford to Wembley by train will actually end up on a GWR train to Paddington, as getting to Oxford Parkway will be too much faff for them.

🚆Rail Update🚆

We continue to work with Chiltern Railways on our travel plans to Wembley on Saturday.

Here is their latest update released today.

https://oxvox.org.uk/chiltern-railways/

Again if you do plan to use a train from anywhere as part of your journey then please take 30 seconds to visit our website and fill out this very short survey. This information REALLY helps in the push to secure our new stadium.

Full details are on our website here https://oxvox.org.uk/united-on-track/

The survey can be taken directly here https://s.surveyplanet.com/hh7n8bvw

Just a couple of clicks and Oxford Parkway could be our regular football destination !

Many thanks to all who have filled this out and please keep spreading the word. 💛💙
