One day we will get our second ever win at Oakwell, no reason it cannot be today, defend like we did at Peterborough and get another delivery like Tuesday on to Longs head, anything is possible.
Got to fight for every ball but not give silly free kicks away around our own box.
Southampton had no chance at Arsenal and almost took three points. We can spring a surprise here if we stay committed like on Tuesday and get a bit of overdue luck.
23° here today, spring is finally here.
The last time we won was light snow showers and -1°
A win would be nice, draw about the best we can expect.
No injuries please, all hands on deck for the last three games.

Lucky for you in the wonderful city of Oxford the temperature is currently 1 it's foggy let's hope that's a good sign because last time we played and it was foggy we won
Having said that, if things don’t go our way and the game gets away from us I think LM needs to be sensible and pragmatic and use as many subs as possible. Especially players who he won’t call on so much in the last three games. We’ve got three more winnable games coming up and we need to keep important players as fresh as possible for those.
But please please please, do the best you can today boys! You are good enough to get the points, go out and do the business!!
Barnsley v OUFC
Charlton v Morecambe
Cheltenham v FGR
Fleetwood v MK Dons
Plymouth v Cambridge
Portsmouth v Accrington
Port Vale v Bristol Rovers
Hope that Charlton, Plymouth, and Portsmouth win today. Also a win for Fleetwood would also be welcome.
And if we can steal at point a Barnsley that would make for a perfect day.
Last minute change to work means I shall now be making the 2 hour drive from North Wales to cheer the lads on! Hopefully we get a first win under Manning but I’d take a point to be honest.
Cleveland based Ross Joyce is today’s man in the middle for the clash with Barnsley at Oakwell.
Joyce is in his eighth season in the EFL and so far this season has taken charge of 26 matches and has issued 102 yellow cards and five reds.
His last U’s match was the 4-3 away win at Rochdale in January 2021. That same season Joyce refereed the U’s 4-1 win at Accrington.
Joyce’s last Tykes fixture was the 4-2 home victory over Sheffield Wednesday last month. He also was in charge when Barnsley defeated Cambridge 2–0
at Oakwell in February.
Can't make the 300 mile round trip today but shall be cheering on the lads/ignoring my phone/jetwashing the patio/making jam/sorting tax returms.
Is there a game on today?
Any points will do.
Played for both the U’s and the Tykes includes Sam Winnall, Herbie Kane, Ryan Williams, Phil Whitehead, Mateo Corbo, Simon Heslop, Daniel Crowley, Kane Hemmings,
Alex Mowatt, Trevor Aylott, Mal Shotton, Elliot Lee, Phil Gray and many more.
