Think it was Sunday lunchtime. Last game of the season, so all games moved for TV.Was that a Sunday lunchtime game? Seem to remember singing "it's just like watching Brazil" which I think was in response to Barnsley singing the same thing during their promotion season.

If memory serves the London Road end was actually singing, 'Rose Hill, its just like watching Rose Hill' parodying the Barnsley 'Its just like watching Brazil' chant as we played em off the park ( The Manor) that dayWas that a Sunday lunchtime game? Which is interesting really, considering the reverse is true from a non-footballing perspective.I'm expecting Barnsley to be basically a better version of Derby.
They played more or less their youth team against Tranmere. Irrelevant.Barnsley have way more footballers than Derby (as in, liking to play football rather than get under a high ball and wrestle with the defenders) - Kane, Styles, Cadden, Cole, Watters. It's going to be a very different type of test.
That being said, after an epic opening day, they've had three crap results since, including losing on penalties to Tranmere in the League Cup, so they're hardly infallible.
I expect a decent game of football, and hopefully we'll give them more of a challenge than we did in April.

it is the very same - he was one of our home grown talents, was offered a much better deal( and first-team football) than OUFC ( KR) offered , by Woking, after going there on loan for a while. Which he took. Barnsley signed him a few weeks agoNine of their starting line up against Tranmere played some part in their 7-0 thrashing of Vale (and the other two were the unused substitutes against Vale).
It wasn't their best team, but it was hardly their youth team. If you ignore that result as irrelevant, you can equally ignore our thrashing by Brizzle.
I also notice that Kyran Lofthouse came off the bench for them against Tranmere. Assume that's the same Kyran Lofthouse? Seems a little surprising.....I know he was decent for Woking last year, but I didn't know he was so decent that a club like Barnsley would pick him up!
What a weird picture, has he been cut out from another photo and pasted onto a generic background? Just doesn't look quite right.County Durham referee Martin Coy is the man in the middle.
Easily achieved by altering the focal length of the lens. What a weird picture, has he been cut out from another photo and pasted onto a generic background? Just doesn't look quite right.
I do respect people who know about photography, something I wish I knew a lot more, so thanks for that.Easily achieved by altering the focal length of the lens.
Can someone who is bored and good at photoshop please put the referee onto some funny backgrounds. The moon, perhaps. What a weird picture, has he been cut out from another photo and pasted onto a generic background? Just doesn't look quite right.
I am sure it may impact the crows but players are of an age to probably have no emotional attachment to him at allThere will be all this Parkinson stuff to motivate Barnsley won’t there?
